There seems to be some kind of clash between Dissent! people and these Christians… I see more a cultural clash than anything else. It is not easy to simply start working on a consensus based structure with no structure whatsoever, specially if you come from a hierarchical background – which we all do.
And, on the other side, of course Christians are in a way made to ‘pay’, or at least suffer a bit, for the sinful history of the Church, or Churches. Either this or people are truly fearful that we are just as those Christians that came before us and had so much power to make people suffer – and exercised it, sometimes even not being conscious of it.
